Wanda2018-12-09Dream Catcher Communities was a farm setting and it was very antiquated. They need to do a lot of improvements. The suite that they showed me was very large and very well furnished, but it too was very antiquated. It seemed like it would be a little confusing the way the buildings were spread out for the residents there. They offer a lot of outdoor activities if you want to participate in gardening or if you want to do the farm life thing, but it wouldn't be conducive for people who struggle with walkers, canes, and wheelchairs.I visited this facility
Albert142016-05-10Dream Catcher Communities is assisted living and I don't want to be here. I want to go to an independent living facility. I don't know anything about this community. We are out in the middle of nowhere with chickens and horses, and crazy things. They make sure the place is clean and in the dining room, people were sitting around feeding them and people eating out of their plates with their hands, and stuff like that. I need to get out of here. The staff are here for their job only, and that's it. There are no activties here.I am/was a resident of this facility
A family member12015-05-25Dream Catchers is set in a country type atmosphere in a wooded area. They have animals and a garden, they have trails that people can walk on or ride their scooters or wheelchairs on with assistance from the nurses, and people that are there -- especially with people with dementia that like to get out and walk, do their exercise -- are always assisted by one of the workers that is there. They are never allowed to go out on their own. They do have individual rooms for the assisted living, and then they also have a main facility where the kitchen and dining room is. There are private rooms and semi-private rooms for those with dementia, so they have facilities for both. If I could give them a ten, I would just because of the fact that it is airy, people can travel outside and relate to nature and stuff, and that is something that my mother-in-law would be very comfortable with. She would like an area like that, to be able to walk through the trail that they have there and have the garden area with the animals and different things because where she lives is a very remote area, so this is something that she would dearly love. The attendants, the facility, and just all of it is very reassuring, and it is a very nice place.I visited this facility
Barbara1060277502015-05-08My boyfriend's mom is at Dream Catcher Communities, and it's fantastic. She's only been there a week. What I like most about the place is that the people are caring. The staff was very sweet to her. They have a beauty shop there that fixes their hair. It's a beautiful place, and they put in a new carpet before they took her in. She has a nice bathroom. Their food is very good. They have all kinds of games like scrabbles.I am a friend or relative of a resident
JoW2012-10-05Dream Catcher is five minutes from my house. It's right down the street from me. It's the only facility that did not have the tiniest urine smell. I was at my wits end when I went down there, but the staff was really nice. And since I've been down there I've gotten some. This place is more homey and people weren't parked in front of a wall on a wheelchair.I visited this facility
Eva P2012-08-14This home is located on acreage in a somewhat rural area. My husband was there for about a week and had a hard time adjusting to being away from his home. After two days I stayed with him, hoping he would settle in. I lived there with him for 4 days and came to know it well. I was so impressed by the loving, caring staff. It truly is home for all of it residents. They are treated with love and respect. Sadly my husband alzheimers was too far advanced and they do not have lock down for patients as severe as him. So i had to move him. They have 2 Facility Buildings, each one is like walking in a fine home. Well furnished with beautiful furniture and fixtures in the common areas. It truly felt like home. This patient rooms are large and most residents have them set up with there own furniture, couches, recliners, TV, small refrigerators, and anything else they enjoy. The surroundings out side are beautiful, One building is set beside a horse pasture and I loved sitting on the front porch watching them. The food is well cooked and enjoyed by the residents. They are in the planning stages to build a third building. I have told my children that if it ever becomes necessary for me to need an assisted living home to put put me there. I fell in love with the staff and was so sad that hubby could not stay. It is a wonderful place. God Bless the Staff of Dream Catchers, I talked with the staff often and one told me that she hated the last Facility that she worked in. She said she loved working at Dream Catchers and is very happy there. I got to know the staff and would recommend them whole heartely.I am a friend or relative of a resident
David1231932012-01-28Dream Catchers faculty are amazing and wonderful people. They truly care for and take care of their residents. The rooms that the residents stay in are just wonderful, very well made and put together. The rooms have easy access to most anything and are easy to maneuver in for older ladies and gentlemen. They do have events where the residents can get together and enjoy activities. The have a wonderful cafeteria, very similar to what you would find in a high class dining institution. The cafeteria has carpet flooring and 2 person tables as well as large tables for a group of friends. Residents are offered a choice of what they want to eat and it is served to them within minutes. Residents are allowed to have friends and family visit for most of the day and they are allowed to eat with the residents. Overall I will say that it is a wonderfully amazing assisted living facility.I am a friend or relative of a resident

All my dream catchers are unique and one of a kind. I make them in 9', 14', 19' and 24' diameter sizes. I make traditional dream catchers with traditional materials, but my specialty is to further embellish with weaving to add earth elements. Each dream catcher is a work of art! More than Just a Dream

Dream catchers follow the Native American legends that your bad dreams are caught in the web and in the first rays of sunlight they perish. Your good dreams filter through the web and enter your mind. Only good dreams will be remembered. The dream catcher is made in a circle to represent how the sun and the moon travel across the sky. Feathers on the dream catcher represent air or breath, essential for life, Gem stones represent the four directions.

Dream Catcher Near Me

I have been making dream catchers for over 30 years. My father made dream catchers for many years crafting many intricate designs and my sister Kathy was a weaver. Both talents inspired me to create what I do.
