Klondike is probably world’s the most popular solitaire game. It is played with a deck of 52 cards. The goal of the game is to remove all cards from the in-play area. To do so, you need to build four foundations. They must be built in ascending sequence, from the ace to the king.

The Klondike Solitaire became popular in the 19th century during the gold rush in Yukon, a territory in northwest Canada. Although the first solitaire video games date back to 1981, the popular computerized version of Klondike Solitaire was first distributed with system Windows 3.0 in 1990 in order to help people learn how to use mouse to drag. To sort cards, you can assemble them in columns in descending order in alternating colors (i.e., the black card can be moved on a red card, etc.). When you clear out on of the columns, you can place a king to the empty spot, or a column of cards that starts with a king. When an ace is available, you can start building a foundation.

When you are out of moves, start using the stock. The top card of the stock can be played to the in-play area or to one of the foundations. If you can’t play the card, it is moved to the waste pile. Keep opening cards from the stock until you have a card you can play with. When the stock is exhausted, the waste pile is turned over and the procedure continues.
